Northwestern Pennsylvania Golf Course Superintendents Association, Inc.

NWPGCSA is a non-profit organization comprised of golf course superintendents, assistant golf course superintendents, and golf course owners (who often double as superintendents) in the Northwestern Pennsylvania area.  Our members also include sales representatives of the turf industry, Penn State University turfgrass professors, PSU extension agents, and USGA directors who service the area.

NWPGCSA is an affiliated chapter of the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America as well as a member of The Pennsylvania Turfgrass Council and the Pennsylvania Golf Course Superintendents Association (formerly known as "Allied")

Our mission is to provide opportunities for our members to learn and grow in their pursuit of perfection in the turfgrass industry.  With great emphasis placed on the value of networking among peers, our association hosts frequent meetings throughout the year, both educational and recreational.  We also publish a yearly membership directory.  Our outreach efforts include providing both turf and non-turf scholarships and helping to host a local turfgrass educational seminar.
